Key Resources for ABA Insurance Services Insureds and ABA Members

ABA provides its members with unparalleled products and services to help your bank compete and succeed. ABA's extraordinary resources and staff expertise are available to every employee of a member bank.  If your bank is an ABA member, you and all other employees at your bank can take advantage of numerous industry resources through the association:

Free Training for ABA Member Banks:

• ABA Frontline Compliance Training: Self-paced compliance courses, covering the major federal regulations impacting retail staff, are available to ABA member banks at no cost. ABA Frontline Compliance runs on the same Learning Management System as our other self-paced courses, making it easy to manage, track, and report on your bank-wide training activities from one location. »Learn More.   »View Course List.

• Residential Mortgage Training Classes - Genworth Financial: Courses cover important topics including analyzing appraisals, appraisal underwriting, non-traditional credit, understanding the secondary market and calculating debt-to-income. »Click here for a complete calendar of courses and to register.

eLearning Courses:

As a member of ABA Insurance Services, a number of valuable ABA eLearning courses are available to you and your bank colleagues at a very special price. If your bank is already taking advantage of ABA eLearning – for example, the Frontline Compliance Training, which is complimentary for ABA member banks – these additional courses are easily added to your bank's existing domain on our Learning Management System (LMS) and can be administered by the same person managing your compliance training. Or, the ABA will be happy to add an additional administrator to manage this training.

The courses we think are most relevant to a broad base of your employees include an introduction to the industry and its products in Banking Today and Understanding Bank Products as well as a primer on the ethical standards expected of financial services professionals in Ethical Issue for Bankers.

Robbery and Bank Security provides the tools needed to handle the most common security situations, whether they are in a retail bank branch or in an insurance affiliate.

To learn more about these courses, the pricing specials for ABA Insurance Services participants, and to set your bank up on ABA's Learning Management System, please contact training@aba.com.
