Welcome to the Prepaid Roundtable
Craig Fuller, CEO, TransCard
Bill Kroll, President, Business Solutions, an ABA subsidiary

The Roundtable begins with a discussion about current trends in the prepaid market, followed by an overview of the Community Bank Prepaid Program’s milestones and enhancements since its launch in 2011. We’ll also hear the highlights of recent industry surveys and learn about the important relationship between the Community Bank Prepaid Program and the bankers participating in the program.

Banker Panel: Prepaid Marketing Stories

Richard Healey, Assistant Vice President/Retail Services Manager, Fidelity Deposit & Discount Bank
Brad Miller, Treasury Services Manager, Metropolitan Bank
Lori Puls, Assistant Vice President, Gulf Coast Bank and Trust Company
Moderator: Kathleen Rumfola, Senior Vice President, American Bankers Association

Be informed and inspired by this lively, interactive panel discussion about marketing from banks already deeply engaged in the Community Bank Prepaid Program. On the table: their segmenting, product development and marketing approach to prepaid cards, including to unbanked and underbanked, commercial clients and youth markets. The banks on our panel represent urban, rural, large and small banks; the experiences they describe should be of interest to all.

Prepaid Compliance: Myth vs. Reality
Kevin Martin, Chief Legal Officer and Executive Vice President of Compliance, TransCard

Our speakers present a high-level view of compliance requirements for banks in prepaid, separating facts from misconceptions. On the agenda: the impact of money remittance rules; differences in KYC/CIP regulations for reloadable prepaid vs. checking accounts; Reg E requirements for paycards, reloadable cards and gift cards; AML/BSA requirements and the ABA Risk Assessment Tool.

Insights Into Your Prepaid Market Opportunity
Cathy Corby Parker, Chief Revenue Officer, TransCard

Lunch will be enlivened by a discussion of successful prepaid market segmentation, from gathering market intelligence to applying it for best results. Look for a live demo that will use an attendee’s ZIP code “cold” to show the effectiveness of this approach.

A Conversation with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau
Marla Blow, Assistant Director, Card and Payment Markets, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau
Nessa Feddis, Senior Vice President and Deputy Chief Counsel, Center for Regulatory Compliance,
American Bankers Association

A Consumer Financial Protection Bureau representative will discuss with ABA staff the Bureau's current views on prepaid cards.
