Laura comes to the foundation with a strong background in public relations and an interest in public policy issues. She believes that financial education and not more regulation is the key to protecting -- and empowering -- consumers.  Many banks across the country are working hard to increase financial literacy, and Laura believes that it's the foundation's mission to promote those activities with lawmakers, regulators and the general public
