HSA Council Member: Council Level

The HSA Council is made up of representatives from banks, insurers, administrators and technology companies. 

HSA Council members receive many of the same benefits as Board members, but attend fewer meetings with legislators and regulators and do not have as much influence in shaping the message and priorities of the Council.

  • During bi-annual meetings, Council members meet with members of Congress to educate them about HSAs.
  • HSA Council lobbyists' regular presence on Capitol Hill, working to protect and promote your HSA business. 
  • Council contact and meetings with regulators at Health and Human Services (HHS), Treasury Department, and IRS.
  • Peer-group interactions where you can learn how others in the industry address concerns, increase your visibility within the marketplace, and network with industry leaders.
  • Regular legislative and regulatory updates via the Council's Newsletter and periodic member-only email updates and conference calls.

  • Access to the Council staff's wealth of knowledge about HSA regulations and guidelines.  As a Council member, your company can contact Council staff with any question regarding HSAs and be assured of a prompt and knowledgeable response.
